Welcome to Ink & Blot Psychological Services, home of Registered Psychologist Dr. Jennifer Arpink.

Jennifer was born and raised in Surrey, BC. She attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Arts in Psychology. After a brief interlude, she went to the University of Regina for her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. Always one to take the scenic route, it was then time to return to BC to complete her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan). She completed her pre-doctoral Internship with the Correctional Service of Canada at Collins Bay Institution in Kingston, Ontario. After graduation, she worked at Back in Motion (Abbotsford clinic) providing general psychological services and specialized trauma therapy to clients who were off work due to psychological conditions. She valued all these experiences and learning opportunities and brings a wealth of training and experience to the table as a clinician. She is well-rounded, down to earth, very direct in her communication, and unwavering in her support for her clients.

Jennifer is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of BC.

Often described as a “unicorn amongst horses,” Jennifer’s quirky enthusiasm and creativity are just part of what she brings to the table as a clinician and human being. She loves her job and appreciates every opportunity to work collaboratively with clients on a variety of challenges and difficulties. She values honesty and fairness above all else. In her spare time, you will find Jennifer writing, listening to music, meditating, playing video games (especially in VR!), and spending time with her husband and children.

Jennifer’s work schedule can vary from week to week, but in essence, she offers both in-person (@ her home office) and virtual (online via Owl Practice) services on the following days/times:
Monday/Thursday/Friday 9:30-5pm
Tuesday 9:30am-7pm
Saturday 9:30am-2pm

One last thing… Jennifer is always taking continuing education, always growing, learning, and trying to better herself. She recently completed training in and has added adult Autism assessments and Psychedelic Integration Therapy to her repertoire. Stay tuned for the next psychology adventure, involving her love of her 27 pet tarantulas!

Jennifer is privileged and honoured to live, learn, and work on the unceded territory of the Stó:lō People.
